Launch of Irish Forum for International Agricultural Development (IFIAD)

13 October 2016, 9:00am - 1:00pm

The Minister of State for the Diaspora and Overseas Development Aid, Mr Joe McHugh TD, will launch this newly created voluntary, multi-disciplinary platform, bringing together representatives from the agri-food, agricultural research and the international development sectors, to share knowledge and good practices for the benefit of agricultural development work in support of Ireland's overseas development objectives.

Founder members of the new forum include  Vita, Teagasc, Irish Aid, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Gorta-Self Help Africa, Concern Worldwide and Trócaire.
